Jason is the CEO of Halo Connect, a Brisbane-based startup which is on a mission to solve the healthcare interoperability crisis. 

He has worked in healthcare improvement and clinical redesign for more than a decade, starting his career as a healthcare management consultant at Ernst & Young, before joining Clinical Excellence Queensland to lead the statewide surgical access improvement program. 

More recently, he led the Improvement and Innovation function at Children’s Health Queensland where he managed the implementation of a 2-year patient flow improvement program and ran the Program Management Office for the COVID response at the Queensland Children’s Hospital. 

Jason is relatively new to the world of startups and software development but has seen first-hand how technology can be both an enabler and barrier to positive change. 

Julian supports organizations of all sizes with their IT, cybersecurity, and development needs. He has implemented technical solutions and supported teams globally, in both developed and remote environments. 

Expertise:
Hardware: Installation and maintenance of mission-critical IT equipment, designing and installing LANs, training staff with limited technical skills, researching physical solutions, and acting as IT support for large clients across multiple industries.

Software: Managing packaged software, developing command line applications, automating processes (backups, updates, server ops), and creating lightweight systems for ARM platforms. Proficient in Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Development: Prototyping for start-ups, iterating PCB designs, consulting on product components, and bringing products to market.

Management: Leading teams to diagnose IT issues, develop patches, and deliver permanent solutions.

Kalena Stano is the founder and CEO of Lendy, an innovative startup at the intersection of technology and sustainability. 

Lendy is a cutting-edge marketplace for everyday items, leveraging technology to drive a behavioural shift in consumption and combat climate change through the art of sharing. 

With a background in Property Economics and Development, Kalena has spent the last two years building and leading her team in developing, testing, and expanding this tech-driven platform to create impactful and sustainable solutions for modern living.

Max is the founder of Superpower, a digital clinic that aims to make preventative, longevity-focused medicine accessible to millions of people.

Previously, Max founded a venture capital fund that invests in healthcare and human optimization. Before that, he spent some time at Goldman Sachs and technology startups.
